The corporate and manufacturing headquarters of Ipswich Bay Glass are located in Rowley, Massachusetts. Our impressive facility spans several hundred thousand square feet and is home to multiple departments and several hundred employees.

Glazing Systems Fabrication Department

• Highly skilled craftsmen handling, processing, assembling and unitizing today’s most advanced fenestration systems
• Multiple parallel cutting and machining production lines
• State-of-the-art computerized cutting and CNC processing centers

Panel Department

• Experienced fabrication staff bends, folds and assembles composite panels of all types
• Multiple CNC programmable routing stations
• Aluminum, copper and zinc-faced composite panel systems

Full Ornamental Sheet Metal and Stainless Steel Shop

• Custom solutions include all types of sheet metal, cladding and our own railing systems

Engineering Department

• Our in-house drafters work in teams to ensure quality control
• Engineers are grouped by specialty/department (fenestration, panels and fabrication) and are cross-trained to provide flexibility
• Utilizes the latest Advanced AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks software to assist with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and complex architectural designs

Project Management Department

• Our project managers are some of the most experienced in the region
• Project managers are responsible for team coordination, purchasing and delivery control, field logistics and project schedules from design to installation
• Ipswich Bay Glass views project management as a collaborative effort involving all company resources. Our project managers are supported by engineering, fabrication, field, safety, logistics, financial and executive personnel to ensure success on every project

Field Operations Department

• Union field personnel managed by several full-time general superintendents
• Project-specific foreman on site to ensure safety, productivity and efficiency
• Weekly site safety inspections performed by project manager, general foreman and third-party safety consultants

Shipping & Receiving Department

• Full-time staff of licensed, DOT compliant drivers along with qualified logistic controllers and fully trained operators and loaders
• Thorough packaging and shipping procedures in place ensure shipments arrive intact and on time
• Company managed fleet of trucks, trailers and crane trucks afford the convenience and capability to ship, move and hoist materials on-site while providing effective logistics control

Sales & Estimating Department

• Ipswich Bay Glass’ Sales & Estimating Department is prepared to assist in early budgeting, project development, design assistance and full project budgeting
• Full preconstruction consultations provided for performance, constructability and cost
